New technical director in the port of Vienna

Wien Holding has put out a tender for the management of the port of Vienna; deadline for applications is 9 March
 
Wien Holding is searching a new director to complete the management board of Wiener Hafen Management GmbH. The new entrant will manage the enterprise together with the present managing director Friedrich Lehr. The tendering procedure according to the Austrian law governing the filling of positions was started on 9 February with the placing of job advertisements in several newspapers. Deadline for job applications is 9 March 2013.
 
Filling the position becomes necessary as the previous managing director Rudolf Mutz will leave the management board and assume new tasks within DDSG-Blue Danube, which is operating passenger shipping in Vienna. The company is owned by the Verkehrsbüro group and Wien Holding.
 
The new director will be in charge of the company’s operating and technological issues, as well as all legal tasks, the technical, storage and throughput divisions, controlling business processes and implementing optimising measures. Moreover company planning, project development and continuing the internationalisation strategy of the port of Vienna count among the tasks of this position.
