Air Cargo Germany to fly to Seoul

Cargo airline Air Cargo Germany expects significant increase in turnover for 2011:

The cargo airline based at the Frankfurt-Hahn airport is offering its first flights to Seoul in South Korea since a few days ago. They operate two weekly frequencies, using a Boeing 747-400F. The aircraft is able to carry a maximum load of 110 tons per flight. The route via Siberia includes a short refuelling stop at the airport in Novosibirsk. “This routing saves up to 90 minutes per flight compared to Karaganda, where we had our previous technical stopovers“, explains CEO Michael Bock.

According to the presented figures ACG Air Cargo Germany will transport about 140,000 tons in the 2011 business year. This means a 50-per cent increase on the previous year. Turnover will rise from EUR 153 million to about EUR 230 million – up 52 per cent. The average utilisation of the fleet of four cargo aircraft is about 80 per cent.
