Allport merges with CS Logistics

UK-based freight forwarder and logistics company, Allport, is merging with CS Logistics Holdings, the parent company of Cargo Services Far East Ltd, a logistics operator in Hong Kong and China.

The two companies have been working together for twenty years, having established the Far East Cargo Line NVOCC network, set up joint ventures in South Africa, Singapore, Thailand and Korea, and now providing services to clients in Australia/New Zealand, South America, North America, the Middle East and UK regions.

Allport was founded almost fifty years ago, and took a shareholding in CS Logistics Holdings when it was founded in 1990.  CS now has 28 offices in Hong Kong and mainland China.

The restructured business, which will continue to operate under the two existing names, manages more than 700,000 sea container movements around the world every year. It also operates airfreight services and pre-retail origin logistics. The combined businesses operate in more than seventy worldwide locations.
