Antalis chooses Fraikin in £5m deal

Antalis has commissioned 81 new Fraikin trucks in a £5 million deal. The paper and packaging company aims to modernise its 160-strong fleet with the investment.

The new vehicles, which are DAF Euro VI curtain-sided trucks, are going to be manufactured at a Leyland plant in Lancashire. The trucks will be hired in a seven-year deal with Fraikin.

“This is a significant investment in the future of the company,” said David Hunter, Antalis regional managing director for UK, Ireland and Southern Africa. “The new vehicles will modernise our existing fleet and ensure that our logistics operation is well-placed to support the changing needs of a dynamic and growing business.
