Effective immediately, Austrian Airlines is offering another North American destination in its flight schedule from Austria. The new route means Austrian Airlines will be offering a total of 26 non-stop flights a week to North America. A Boeing 777 is operated on the daily Vienna-New York flights. Daily flights to Washington and Toronto are operated with a Boeing 767.

Austrian Airlines is Austria’s largest carrier and operates a global route network of round 130 destinations. In Central and Eastern Europe that route network comprises 43 destinations. Austrian Airlines is part of the Lufthansa group, Europe’s largest airline group, and a member of the Star Alliance, the first global alliance of international airlines. The flight operations of the Austrian Airlines Group have been bundled at its 100% subsidiary Tyrolean Airways since July 1, 2012.
