DHL Express sets up joint Management Team for Austria and Switzerland

A change in Management is to take place at DHL Express (Austria) GmbH. Since March 1, the fate of the enterprise is in the hands of Beat Müller (49). His predecessor, Dr. Martin Hermesch, will continue to be at the company’s disposal.

Also with effect as of March 1, the previous national Management Teams of Austria and Switzerland will be merged into one joint Management Team. Three members each, including Beat Müller, will form the new Management Team headed by Dr. Martin Müller-Duysing, CEO DHL Express Austria & Switzerland.

Beat Müller has long and profound experience in logistics, thanks to his previous different leading functions at the former Swissair and Swisscargo. At DHL Express (Switzerland) AG he was Member of the Management Board and had been heading the Marketing & Sales segment for the last seven years. In his new function the logistics expert wants to expand the leading position of DHL Express in the business of international express services in Austria.
