Boxmover gives new impetus for combined cargo transport

Innovative side loader allows direct loading of containers between truck and ground or railway
 
After five years of intensive development the innovation of the Upper Austrian company BOXmover.eu is about to be launched in the market. The new technology named BOXmover.eu shall save time and costs in container transport and give new impetuses for combined cargo transport. The inventor of this technology, Dipl. Ing. Rudolf Hubauer, intends to improve traditional logistics processes.
 
BOXmover.eu is a hydraulic side loader, which allows for quick loading and unloading of containers anywhere. This technology allows to lift, lower or move sideward all standardised cargo units between truck and ground or rail cars.
 
The advantage of Boxmovers compared to other side loaders is its lower weight, the company states. In combined load traffic a payload of 28 tons can be carried without requiring special permissions. The innovative side loader is suitable for transportations in plant and construction site traffic, as well as for loading containers anywhere without cranes or ramps. In traditional cargo traffic the BOXmover.eu can reduce waits for loading and unloading.
