BSH Quality Award: “And the winner is Fercam”
Fercam AG (Bolzano/Italy) defines its transport services for Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH primarily via quality as a factor
In the annual quality ranking of the BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH for logistics providers Fercam AG won the first prize. The transport and logistics company based in South Tyrol received the BSH Quality Award for the best delivery quality of exports from Germany. On May 17, 2014 the award ceremony took place in Salzburg.
Fercam reached top positions in several classes of the annual quality ranking of the Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH (BSH) for logistics providers: e.g. the company scored with its high reliability through quickly available vehicles, smooth TiSLot management, flawless documentation of delivery and very low rates of damages or failures.
„We take our responsibility as a service provider very seriously – quality and customer satisfaction are our top priority,“ says Dr. Thomas Baumgartner, managing director of Fercam AG. „The BSH Quality Award is therefore recognition and incentive for all employees.“
Since 2012 Fercam takes over transportation services for the manufacturer of household appliances. The logistics company picks up the goods from two BSH production sites in Baden-Württemberg and exports the shipments to Italy and the UK. In addition, goods of various Italian suppliers are transported to the German production sites of BSH.
Fercam AG, with headquarters in Bolzano, is a leading transport and logistics company in Italy. The services include international full load transports by road and rail as well as global ocean and air cargo transportation, national cargo transports and various logistics services.
