Cargoline Logistics Network expands to Turkey with Ekol

Turkish transport logistics group Ekol is the ne wand only member of the general cargo cooperative Cargoline in Turkey
 
These days the expansion of Cargoline Logistics Network in the new EU member states and in the economic region Southeastern Europe results in a cooperation agreement with the Ekol logistics group based in Istanbul. In a press release the new member announces that it joined the pan-European general cargo cooperative. They were the first and only member of the Cargoline Logistics network in Turkey, they inform.
 
Cargoline GmbH & Co. KG based in Frankfurt (Main) is a cooperative for standardised and systematised general cargo transport in Germany and Europe. Established in 1993, 45 medium-sized system partners form the nation-wide network, which is completed by strong international members. In addition to system-based transport services the core business of Cargoline is distribution, procurement and contract logistics. In 2011 the corporation moved 11.6 million shipments and 6,900 employees generated turnover at about EUR 1.4 billion. The forwarding companies G. Englmayer (Wels) and Jöbstl (Wundschuh) are  Austrian partners of the network.
