Cargolux now also fly to Ecuador

Cargolux Airlines has inaugurated its scheduled all-cargo services to Quito on 2 July 2017. All four weekly Cargolux flights, that originate in Luxembourg and operate through Curitiba, Viracopos and Mexico, before arrival in Quito, connect Ecuador’s capital to Amsterdam, Luxembourg and beyond. The direct services from Quito offer Cargolux customers updated product and logistics set-up with scheduled all-cargo flights.

Cargolux’s direct flights from South and Central America to Amsterdam have been set in 2016 and serve the perishable and flower markets, offering customers reduced transit times and a faster delivery. Growing the presence in the Netherlands also enabled Cargolux to be more flexible in the Dutch export markets for products that are difficult to transport by road.

Cargolux, based in Luxembourg, is an all-cargo airline with a fleet composed of 14 Boeing 747-8 freighters and 12 Boeing 747-400 freighters. The Cargolux worldwide network covers 90 destinations, some 70 of which are served on scheduled all-cargo flights. The company has more than 85 offices in over 50 countries, and operates an extensive global trucking network to more than 250 destinations as well as full and part-charter services.
