Chapman Freeborn refines its On Board Courier Service

Chapman Freeborn’s global courier service offers new online tool for tracking shipments

The On Board Courier Service (OBC) of Chapman Freeborn enables its customers as of now to accompany their shipments via internet. In addition to receiving regular updates from the company’s OBC team, clients can now log in and view real-time updates on the status of their cargo. Carsten Volk, Chapman Freeborn’s global product manager for OBC services, is convinced about the new technology: “Our tracking tool has been developed in cooperation with Awery Airline Solutions and gives clients the opportunity to follow OBC shipments online – from the sender to the recipient, detailing every arrival and departure movement in between. The technology helps to make our high quality and safe transportation service even more transparent.”

Chapman Freeborn’s OBC service is a specialised transportation solution for time-critical spare parts, important documents and other urgent shipments. Specially trained couriers accompany each shipment, from pick up to delivery direct to the recipient. Previous to and during the transport the OBC specialists are organising the required matters, such as import regulations, booking of flights and customs regulations. The consignment is carried out without any interfaces and remains in the same hands, providing an entirely new standard of safety to the customers.

Chapman Freeborn is the globally leading charter broker for private jets, helicopters and wide-body aircraft. The internationally acting aircraft chartering company has 35 locations around the world and carries out more than 6,000 flights per year.
