Chris Evans joins Aramex

Well-known Industry Professional joins Aramex in UK to spearhead further growth

LONDON :  May 21st, 2008:  Aramex, the total transportation solutions provider, has announced the appointment of Chris Evans to the newly created position of General Manager – London.  Evans will be based at Aramex‘ 30,000 sq foot premises at London Heathrow which houses all the company’s air, ocean and express operations under one roof.

Among his initial responsibilities he will be driving forward the company’s UK business development programme and further developing Aramex’s corporate goals at a local level.

Evans is a well-known figure in both the global air cargo and express arenas having previously been Group Commercial Director at Linex, Chief Operating Officer and Regional VP Asia for Circle International and the holder of a number of senior management positions at Cathay Pacific Cargo based in Hong Kong.
