CMA CGM increases transatlantic freight charges
| Northern Europe/USA/Canada: CMA CGM increases prices Customers of the French shipping line CMA CGM will have to face a considerable increase in freight rates on routes from northern Europe to the USA and Canada. Price for shipping 20-ft-boxes is to be increased by USD 400 per unit with effect from 1 September. 40-ft-containers will cost USD 500 more per unit. The price increase affects all westbound shipments. In return for the new freight charges the shipping company continues to offer its customers a diverse service schedule.
