CMA CGM launches new ANZEX service

CMA CGM Group will launch a new weekly service connecting Asia, the Fiji Islands and New Zealand on July 18th.

The new ANZEX service will be the only service in the market to offer two ports of call in New Zealand’s North Island and two in New Zealand’s South Island.

It will also offer the fastest transit times from Asia to Suva (Fiji) and between Asia and New Zealand: seventeen days between Shanghai and Auckland, and sixteen days between Tauranga and Port Kelang.

The new service provides customers with access to the Southeast Asia market for goods to and from New Zealand, Australia and New Caledonia, thanks to the following calls:

  • Port Kelang Hub: connection with CMA CGM’s global network
  • Tauranga: connection with the Panama Direct service, linking North Europe, US East Coast, French Polynesia, Australia and New Zealand
  • Auckland: connection with ANL’s PNW service, linking Australia, New Zealand, French Polynesia and the US West Coast

The ANZEX service will deploy seven 1,800 TEU ships calling at: Port Kelang > Chiwan > Shangai > Pusan > Suva > Auckland > Port Chalmers > Lyttelton > Tauranga > Noumea > Port Kelang.
