CMA CGM launches new Asia-US West Coast direct service

CMA CGM’s Yang Tse service linking South, Central and North China to the US West Coast will be resumed on July 10th.

Operated in partnership with Maersk Line and MSC, the service will deploy six 6,500 TEU vessels on the following port rotation: Xiamen > Shanghai (Wai Gao Qiao) > Qingdao > Long Beach > Kaohsiung > Hong Kong > Xiamen.

The service will enable CMA CGM to respond to the rebound of volumes on the trade linking China to the US by strengthening its presence and improving transit times on this key transpacific trade lane.

The Yang Tse service will complement the Group’s existing services between China and the US West Coast – Bohai Rim and Pearl River -providing optimum port coverage due to the addition of three new calls in Xiamen (eastbound), Hong Kong and Qingdao as well as an extra call in Shanghai (WGQ).
