CMA CGM’s communication response team monitors Egypt

CMA CGM has set up a 24/7 Emergency & Communication Response Team to follow the situation in Egypt and keep in close contact with its Egyptian teams in the country, assessing their safety and ensuring operations are fully maintained.

CMA CGM continues to accept bookings for Egypt. The Group’s vessels maintain all their calls to Egyptian main Terminals (Damietta, Alexandria and Port Said West & East), and will resume calls at Ein Sokhna once the port reopens.

CMA CGM Group vessels continue to transit normally through the Suez Canal.

All CMA CGM offices are open, except at Ein Sokhna.

Now that telecommunications have been restored, CMA CGM is able to contact its customers in Egypt to advise them of the location of their import and export containers.
