Crane Worldwide expands EMEA warehouse network

Crane Worldwide Logistics is to expand its contract logistics warehousing footprint in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The 3PL said it would open new warehouse facilities near Birmingham airport; Dublin, Ireland; and Johannesburg, South Africa, as well as taking additional space in Tilburg, the Netherlands.

The new facility close to Birmingham airport in the Midlands has over 66,000 sq ft of warehouse space.

Jason Stretton, Regional Vice President, EMEA, at Crane, said: “Our goal has always been to position ourselves according to our client’s needs. Due to the urgent need for flexible global supply chain partners, we have seen considerable demand for additional warehouse space in the region. Given our integrated logistics service offering, we are growing with our clients.”

Crane were ranked in the Logistics Manager Top 50, which was revealed in a series of webinars last week.

With our best of class purchase order management system, Pinpoint, alongside our visibility tool C-View, we continue to offer the fastest order to consumption transit times.
