Czech Republic is the 11th country to join AsstrA’s network

International logistics group AsstrA wants to boost its position in Central Europe with a new location in Prague

Established in Zurich in 1993, the international transport and logistics holding AsstrA continued to expand its presence in Europe. The enterprise recently announced the opening of a office in the capital of the Czech Republic Prague. The main reason for the new office in the ‘golden city’ was the constantly growing transport volume.

“One of the major services of the new office will be trucking. However, we intend to expand operations with other transport modes as well and offer certain associated services. In general we hope to be able to boost our position in Central Europe and we assume this will show the first effects on our transport volume in 2013,“ says Oleg Germanovich, CEO AsstrA Forwarding.

Specialising in transport between Europe and the CIS the group knows the Czech market well and has been cooperating with local transport companies. Including the new office the group operates locations in eleven countries worldwide. AsstrA has about 800 employees in China, the CIS and Europe.
