Dachser reinforces its network with an acquisition in Great Britain
Dachser group takes over logistics and transport activities of JA Leach Transport Limited The internationally active logistics group Dachser expands its presence in Great Britain. In a press release the enterprise announces the takeover of the logistics and transport activities from JA Leach Transport Limited. The acquired company operates a fleet of 40 vehicles and more than 7,300 m² of warehousing area. With this new location Dachser responds to the growing demand of customers for distribution and logistics solutions in northern England. JA Leach Transport Limited is based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. The site is located in a key industrial area of the UK and well situated to logistically serve north England’s economic centres Liverpool, Machester, Leeds and Hull. The station completes Dachser’s network in Great Briatin, which was previously served by 240 employees at the locations in Northampton and Dartford. The German forwarding group takes over all employees from Leach.
