DB Schenker achieves Cargo 2000 Platinum status

Cargo 2000 awards the highest prize of quality management in global air freight business to DB Schenker Logistics
 
Cargo 2000, the organisation for quality standards in the global air cargo industry, has announced that DB Schenker Logistics has reached Platinum membership. Thus, DB Schenker is now one of two logistics providers and five carriers in the world having reached this classification.
 
Cargo 2000 is a cooperative of more than 80 major airlines, forwarders, and third parties in air freight and is a self funded non-profit industry group with the mission to create and implement the quality standard and management system for the worldwide air cargo industry.It is considered as the deepest and most far-reaching quality improvement initiative in the history of air cargo. The Cargo 2000 membership classification consists of four levels, from "Member" via "Silver" and "Gold" to "Platinum". It is based on a points system that objectively measures a company’s integration of Cargo 2000 into its daily business processes.
