DB Schenker controls spare parts logistics for WSM vessels
Wilhelmsen Ship Managment further counts on DB Schenker’s know how Wilhelmsen Ship Management (WSM) concluded a five years-contract with Schenker AS in Norway about logistics for vessel-spare parts. The agreement comprises global warehousing, handling and transport of vessel-spare parts to ships that are operated by WSM. A direct IT integration between the procurement system of WSM and DB Schenker is an integrated part of the contract as well. "The newly developed system integration, which depicts all important dispatch information of the whole process, completed our procurement process.
