DB Schenker Logistics opens subsidiary in Belarus

DB Schenker Logistics is now represented in Belarus with its own national company, with locations in Minsk and at Minsk Airport.

Previously, an office in Minsk represented the Russian national company on the Belarusian market.

The new subsidiary now connects Belarus with DB Schenker’s global network and its 2,000 locations in more than 130 countries.

The new company offers the full range of logistics services, including the import and export of part- and full-load freight shipments to and from Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan, as well as air and ocean freight services that include the handling of all customs formalities.

According to Karl Nutzinger, Schenker management board member responsible for Land Transportation, the company expects that the recently formed customs union between Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan will boost additional growth.
