DDSG Cargo ends operation
DDSG Mahart Kft. (Budapest) to control all river shipping activities of Helogistics Holding with immediate effect
The Helogistics Holding (Vienna) causes a thunderbolt for inland navigation in Austria. In a short press release at their website www.ddsg-cargo.at the management announces the end of operations of the Erste Donau-Dampfschifffahrts-GmbH, effective 31 December 2011.
Since the start of this year DDSG MAHART Kft, (H-1211 Budapest, Weiss Manfréd út 5-7) is in charge of the complete operative handling of all river shipping activities of the Helogistics Holding group on the rivers Rhine, Main and Danube. This means also all units of both shipping companies, such as motor cargo vessels, push boats, barges etc., must be maintained, repaired or rebuilt by Helogistics Asset Leasing Kft. (H-1211 Budapest, Weiss Manfréd út 5-7). Moreover this company bears all investments in the segment of barge and shipbuilding.
The bunker and port activities in Vienna will be carried out by Ferrexpo Port Services GmbH in future. The location of this company has the address 348, Handelskai in 1020 Vienna.
