DHL Express about to adjust prices in Austria

To maintain its service promise: DHL Express to increase prices for express shipments in Austria by 3.5 per cent in January 2015

With effect from 1 January 2015, DHL Express implements a worldwide price adjustment. For customers in Austria, the global market leader raises prices for sending time-definite express shipments by 3.5 per cent on average.

„We want to provide our customers the services of DHL Express in a highest possible quality. The annual price adjustment ensures that we can maintain a competitive service promise to our customers on the long term,“ says Ken Allen, CEO DHL Express. „We have one of the most powerful networks in the world, in which we invest around EUR 500 million each year, among others to new sites in Europe, Japan, North Africa and the Middle East. Moreover we add flights around the world, and not least we consistently train our employees through our Certified International Specialists program. Thus we underline the customer orientation of our services and make our contribution to the success of our customers.“

DHL Express adjusts its rates every year to take into account inflation and other cost increases in more than 220 countries and territories in which the company operates. The price adjustments are different from country to country, depending on local conditions. They apply to all customers, whose contracts allow the adjustments.
