Kuehne + Nagel launches new direct service Austria-Turkey

Weekly departures from/to Vienna: Kuehne + Nagel operates a new general cargo line between Eastern Europe and Turkey

Kuehne + Nagel adds a weekly service to its general cargo network. The transportations from/to Istanbul via the Eastern Europe-hub in Vienna take four to five days and allow for a fast and constant connection between Eastern Europe and Turkey.

“The new service is our response to the growing trade flows of industrial goods such as machinery, plastic goods, chemicals, retail goods and other products, coming from and going into Turkey or economic centres in Eastern Europe. Moreover the new line responds to the growing demand and the service requirements of shippers“, reads a press release.

The Kuehne + Nagel hub in Vienna connects all major countries in Eastern Europe directly, through more than 300 weekly departures. The central general cargo platform allows for better capacity utilisation, reduces transit times and increases the number of routes with daily departures within Europe. Fixed transit times and scheduled departures guarantee transparent and continuous freight transport for the customers of the globally operating transport and logistics provider.
