DHL Express receives multi-site ISO 9001 certification

DHL Express has now obtained ISO 9001 quality management certification from the International Organisation for Standardisation for all its US and European locations, including service centres, gateways and hubs.

The certification recognises transparent, integrated and standardised quality management across all functions, such as commercial, operations and finance.

DHL Express US was awarded the multi-site ISO 9001:2008 certification in December 2010 following a two-month audit by a team of independent, accredited ISO auditors, who reviewed quality processes at DHL Express US facilities, including its service centres, gateways and its hub at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport (CVG).

DHL Express received multi-site ISO 9001:2008 certification in July 2010 for all 31 of its Europe-region countries in recognition of its compliance with ISO quality management standards at all of its service Centres, hubs and gateways.

The US and European certifications are part of a wider program, which aims at achieving a global multi-site certification for all DHL Express entities.
