Damco provides ocean freight services to NOFE; Weber wins distribution contract with e-BI. Damco has been awarded the ocean business of National Oil Field Equipments & Services (NOFE), a Jordan-based exporter of potash to customers throughout the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia. As NOFE’s logistics partner, Damco provides the company with fixed and stable service contracts with major carrier lines in Jordan. NOFE, also a major supplier of oilfield drilling chemicals and services within the Middle East, North Africa and the Indian subcontinent, recently teamed up with Damco for the execution and follow-up of all shipments to South Asia. Weber Logistics has signed a new contract with e-Business International (e-BI), a supply chain management company, for nationwide distribution of its brand, REVÉNA. Under the new contract, Weber drays containers of REVÉNA products from the Port of Long Beach to its facility in Fontana, California. e-BI’s product line is manufactured in China and includes 26 SKUs. Weber’s provides a wide range of services to e-BI, including warehousing, outbound and inbound transportation, distribution, and label generation, as well as value-added services such as re-work with ticketing and sub-styling. Weber also manages compliance for all major retailers‘ specific routing, shipping and labelling requirements, as well as e-BI’s high volume parcel shipments. A custom-designed internal website allows all of Weber’s warehouses to quickly reference all major retailers‘ most recent routing and shipping requirements, without having to individually review and interpret routing and vendor guides.
