A consortium of five companies has taken over DHL Fashion France. The previous 100 per cent subsidiary of DHL will act as Fashion PartnerGroup with immediate effect. The new company based in Greater Paris is market leader for transport and logistics of fashion and lifestyle products in France. Being a member of the Fashionet AG logistics network, the Fashion Partner Group is also in charge of distribution of high quality garments to retailers throughout Europe.

Apart from two French partners the new group is owned by Traconf from Verona, Italy, DTL GmbH based in Dieburg and M + R Spedag Group AG, based in Muttenz, Switzerland. The objective of the Fashion Partner Group is to expand and develop the existing market segments in the fields of distribution and procurement transport as well as warehousing and value added services. The enterprise intends to boost their activities particularly in the luxury segment of high quality fashion and lifestyle brands in the future.

“As to individual, high quality logistics services we count on decades of experience and textile-specific know how of the associates of the Fashion Partner Group“, says Christophe Cavailles, the new manager of the enterprise. As a partner of the Fashionet AG the company will introduce this joined know how as well. The international logistics network has 40 partners in 15 countries to control and manage retail activities in Europe.
