DHL Freight starts general cargo liner service from and to Tunisia

DHL Freight’s general cargo network Euroconnect opens additional connection to the North African continent

DHL Freight improves its road freight services to and from North Africa. Following the successful launch of the DHL Euroconnect product to and from Morocco in April of this year the enterprise now offers also transport solutions for groupage services to and from Tunisia.

DHL Freight is continuously strengthening and expanding its less-than-truckload network across Europe and beyond. Both Morocco and Tunisia maintain strong economic ties with the European Union, in particular the South European countries. This is fuelling demand to include these countries in the Euroconnect network.

The new connection to Tunisia allows DHL Freight to reach all major business centres within one day. Five branch offices across the country serve as domestic hubs and customer access points. „Moreover, dedicated teams with local expertise, in-depth knowledge and resources offer a range of value-added services such as document handling, customs clearance and all-in insurance“, DHL Freight announces.

DHL Euroconnect provides international all-in-one road groupage products for palletized and non-palletized general cargo as well as products requiring special care and compliance, such as ADR, temperature control and high value. On the basis of more than 2,000 international regular lines DHL Freight offers by its own account scheduled door-to-door lead times in more than 50 countries across Europe, the Near East and North Africa.
