DSV in 2014: Air & Sea delivered earnings growth

Logistics group DSV was able to create growth and improve performance in 2014 – gained market share in all business areas
2014 was a good year for DSV in many respects. The company grew with their customers — existing as well as new — and gained market share in all business areas. Not least, it delivered results in line with the expectations announced at the beginning of the year.

“The Air & Sea Division was the main contributor to the growth in earnings, whereas the Road Division was affected by the ever present intense competition in our industry. We have a promising outlook for 2015; the investments we have made over the past couple of years to increase our productivity give us a solid basis for harvesting the best results from global market growth,“ says Jens Bjørn Andersen, CEO.

DSV is a global supplier of transport and logistics solutions. Offices in more than 70 countries and an international network of partners and agents makes it a truly global player that offers services worldwide. The company’s 23,000 employees enabled DSV to record worldwide revenue of EUR 6.5 billion for 2014. They handled more than 830,000 TEUs of sea freight and 280,000 tons of air freight in the reporting period.
