JCL Logistics places major order with DanubeTruck Rankweil

Repair and maintenance contracts included: DanubeTruck Rankweil delivers 37 new Euro 6 trucks by DAF Trucks to JCL Logistics Switzerland
There is peak period at the Vorarlberg branch of the Rankweil-based DanubeTruck commercial vehicle dealer now. As part of a major order, the first of 37 new DAF Euro 6 trucks were recently sent to JCL Logistics Switzerland AG, headquartered in Zug.

In the next few weeks DanubeTruck Rankweil organises the preparation, the training and the transfer of the new commercial vehicles to the Swiss logistics company. Markus Monz, Branch Manager of Danube Truck Rankweil, is particularly pleased with the repair and maintenance contracts. As an additional service, the company is also responsible for the entire maintenance and repair of the entire DAF fleet of JCL Logistics.

In addition to the reliability of the vehicles and the Euro VI engines, the economy in particular was one of the main reasons for the acquisition of new DAF trucks with 435 hp performance. „With a consumption of 29.9 litres and operating costs of only 64 cents per kilometre, the vehicles count among the absolute savings masters in the environmentally friendly Euro 6 class and are compared to the competitors at the leading edge,“ says Thomas Niederer, Managing Director JCL Logistics Austria & Switzerland. „In addition, our drivers will benefit from exclusive equipment and an exceptionally quiet cabin.“

In Austria JCL Logistics Switzerland AG has a branch in Vorarlberg and is a major supplier of services in the areas of logistics solutions, customs services and warehousing. They offer international transportations to destinations in Southeastern, Central-Eastern and Eastern Europe, Germany, Austria and northern Italy. In addition Vorarlberg, DanubeTruck serves the areas of Vienna, Lower Austria, Burgenland, Styria and Upper Austria. „The aim of Danube truck is to expand the DAF market share in Austria of about twelve per cent in the class of trucks of more than 16 tonnes,“ says Björn Speer, Managing Director of DanubeTruck. The Rankweil branch of DanubeTruck in Vorarlberg has 26 employees and currently holds at 32 per cent market share in this province.
