DTC Gdansk acquires new liner service

Unifeeder liner service links Gdansk (Poland) to Baltiysk (Russia)

The terminal operator DCT Gdansk announces the winning of a new liner service. The Danish container shipping company Unifeeder uses the deep water terminal as a point of departure of a regular service to Baltiysk in Russia. A container vessel offering 508 TEU capacity will start its journey to the Russian Federation on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Gdansk. The basic capacity utilisation of the service is granted by a contract with Rohlig Suus Logistics for the delivery of automotive components to Russia.

DCT Gdansk offers ice free access to the harbour facilities throughout the year to container vessels with a maximum draught of 16.5 metres. The Polish port is regularly connected to St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Klaipeda, Teesport, Hamburg, Bremerhaven, Rotterdam and Ghent by the liner services of diverse shipping companies.
