Expanded service with rail logistician Transpetrol

Transpetrol starts 24-hours service throughout Europe for block train customers

The rail logistics enterprise Transpetrol (Hamburg) expands its product portfolio these days. Since 26 October a 24-hours service throughout Europe is available for block train customers. A personal Transpetrol contact person can be reached by a service telephone number at the headquarters in Hamburg around the clock, who will immediately take required action in case of changes or particularities of the transport process.

According to the company this 24 hours service permits a gapless flow of information and prompt decisions concerning the transport management. “As cargo trains are mainly operated by night, a rail logistician must also be reachable around the clock in order to take measures. This grants supply safety for short-term changes of the train run as well“, they stated in a press release.

Transpetrol GmbH is a rail logistics enterprise that acts all over Europe and has a special focus on dangerous goods transport (mineral oil, chemical products and liquid gas) in block trains and single wagons or wagon groups. Moreover, they organise rail transportations for numerous other industries. Transpetrol is mainly held by the VTG Aktiengesellschaft, an international leading wagon leasing and rail logistics enterprise.
