TNT Express launches new PoD module
One system – 85 countries: “PoD signature image” by TNT Express TNT Express opens up a new era of tracking and testing of proofs of delivery (PoD’s). As of now customers and business partners can electronically control the takeover of consignments by goods recipients. The digitally archived “PoD signature image“ can be retrieved electronically the day after delivery. There will be no additional costs for users due to the new application. During the initial stage the “PoD signature image“ service module covers 85 countries, including Austria, Germany, Italy, Poland, Russia, England, the U.S., Brazil, India, China, Taiwan and Japan. Thus more than 90 per cent of the transported consignments can be captured. In the coming months the geographical reach is planned to be extended to more than 100 countries.
