Duvenbeck group strives for new positioning in the market

Medium sized logistics service provider Duvenbeck from Bocholt in Germany wants to better position its solutions for sustainable logistics in the market

 

The Duvenbeck group with its headquarters in Bocholt is repositioning itself. The traditional family-run enterprise is elaborating a strategy therefore. “The image of our company will be stronger influenced by innovative power and IT competence in the future“, Pia Duvenbeck (35) discloses the first details.

Pia Duvenbeck fills the newly established function for marketing and communication at the Duvenbeck corporate group. She has been working for the logistics service provider for several years. She has studied law and management in Passau, Münster and Berlin.

Duvenbeck stands for a medium sized logistics service provider with the core activities in the automotive and supply, plastics and beverages industry. Together with their customers the enterprise develops by its own account innovative and efficient concepts for sustainable logistics. Thomas Duvembeck (44), associate, represents the third generation of the owner-managed family enterprise.

The Duvenbeck group employs about 2,200 people, who generated a turnover of around EUR 220 million in the year 2010. Transport business accounted for the major part of the revenues. These activities are carried out with 850 tractors and 1218 trailer units, as well as 750 swap bodies. Duvenbeck has 31 locations in eight countries. Apart from Germany they have branches in Austria, the Czech Republic, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.
