More efficiency through lightweight construction with Berger automotive technology
Berger Fahrzeugtechnik optimises its trailer series and produces by its own account the lightest steel-made trailers
Based in Tyrol Radfeld the Berger Fahrzeugtechnik GmbH improves its trailer series again. Their target was to develop the lightest steel-made semitrailer, in order to achieve a better payload. Dubbed with the brand name BERGERecotrail, Berger markets these semitrailers. A ready-to-use sliding tarpaulin-semi trailer of the BERGERecotrail series has about 4,700 kilogram deadweight. This increases the payload with a constant total weight, and brings more efficiency for the freight carrier. Berger Fahrzeugtechnik defies itself as a European-wide specialist and technology leader in terms of light weight-semi trailers made from steel. The BERGERecotrail products are available in different branch models. Apart from the standard platform-semi trailers they offer also a version for coils transport, with deadweight of 5,320 kilograms. Another version has interior tailboards and a plateau version with variable number of tailboards. With the Reuleaux triangular, which is combined with the letter „e“ the registered trademark of the BERGERecotrail series, Berger Fahrzeugtechnik wants to symbolise ecology, economy, efficiency and excellence.
