Schachinger Logistik grows under controlled and sustainably

Schachinger Logistik Holding from Hörsching sets its course to EUR 200 million annual turnover

The Schachinger Logistik Holding GmbH with its headquarters in Hörsching near Linz wants to increase its turnover to EUR 200 million per year in the medium term. The enterprise targets a controlled organic growth by expanding its current business activities as well as by targeted acquisitions of companies that complement Schachinger’s activities and allow, due to their size, for a smooth integration into the existing organisation. Around ten enterprises were taken over by the Schachinger group, still a pure family run company, in the past decade.

The enterprise counts consciously and targeted on the principle of sustainability. “Sustainability means future-proof,“ the managers Dr. Max Schachinger, Dkfm. Peter Overkamp and Maximilian Schachinger agree in the talk with the Austrian transport magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung. Sustainability and ecology are the future benchmarks of Schachinger: „In ten years ecology will be crucial for business“, states Dr. Max Schachinger.

ÖVZ N° 12/2011 will feature a detailed report on the Schachinger Logistik Holding.
