EKAER relief in traffic with Hungary
Simplified EKAER regulations for international road transport operations with several loading or unloading stations in Hungary
The Austrian foreign trade centre in Budapest announced that the following simplifications of EKAER registration for transports with several loading or unloading stations in Hungary become effective as per 1 June:
– If a sender loads shipments to several addresses for the transport from an EU Member State to Hungary, only the last loading address in the EU shipping state must be registered.
– Also, for transportation from Hungary to the European Union, to a receiver with multiple unloading addresses, only the first address of unloading in an EU Member State must be registered.
– On the contrary, if goods are loaded at multiple addresses in Hungary for transport within the country or to another EU Member State, every loading address in Hungary must be registered.
– Likewise, each unloading address in Hungary has to be registered for transports to Hungary.
