Enlarged Executive Management at Felbermayr Group

Peter Stöttinger joined Felbermayr Group as a new member of the management board
 

The Executive Management of Felbermayr Group was joined by a new member. The family company based in Wels (Austria) enlarged its management at the beginning of this year. Peter Stöttinger, has previously been acting as an authorised officer for the Felbermayr division of transport and lifting technology, and was now charged with more competences. The founder of the company Horst Felbermayr and his son who has the same name, Wolfgang Schellerer, and Mr. Stöttinger in his new function are jointly responsible of shaping the future for the company.

“I am glad that I was able to fill this position internally“, Horst Felbermayr commented about the decision and states the reasons therefore “Being a mechanical engineer and a graduated economist, Peter Stöttinger has a good grasp in technical as well as economic issues.“ What is also very important is, that he has a good relation to the colleagues, Felbermayr continues.

Peter Stöttinger has been working for the Felbermayr Group since 1991. His career was only interrupted by a 12 months time out to complete his studies in economics. After returning to the company in 2005 he was charged with the establishment of a project department. Mr. Stöttinger sees his primary targets in the administrative integration of the subsidiaries in Eastern Europe.

The Felbermayr Group is represented with 36 locations in 12 European countries. The enterprise is specialising in special and heavy transports, rental of mobile cranes and working platforms, structural and civil engineering activities, and offers Felbermayr’s specialised civil engineering. The enterprise has currently around 1,700 employees. The annual turnover 2008 amounted to EUR 392.4 million.
