AsstrA Group closes location in Odessa

Declining sea freight induces AsstrA Group to make cuts in Ukraine
 

By closing down the location in Odessa the AsstrA Associated Traffic AG responds to the strong decline in sea freight volume transported from and to Ukraine as well as to destination and departure points in the Commonwealth of Independent States. As of March the control of these transports lies in the hands of the Kiev office, where the transport logistics group operates also a warehouse. Sergey Omelyaniuk, Head of AsstrA Ukraine, grants customers an unchanged high quality in services.´

AsstrA Associated Traffic AG, based in Zurich, is specialising in transport logistics concepts from and to Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Central Asia (Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan etc.) and China. The enterprise has more than 800 employees in 20 offices in 10 countries. The 2008 annual report shows sales revenues of EUR 160 million. The customer circle consists of more than 4,000 companies.
