Express-Interfracht now operates as Rail Cargo Logistics – Austria
To strenghten the sales activities: Express-Interfracht forwarding and Entsorgungslogistik Austria company join the brand of Rail Cargo Logistics
The logistics services provider Express-Interfracht has a new brand name. As of now the international forwarding company based in Vienna is operating under the name Rail Cargo Logistics – Austria GmbH. With the change of the company name a further step into a successful future has now been set, they state in a press release. The rebranding of all other Express-Interfracht subsidiaries with a stake of more than 50% will be completed by mid-2014.
„Express-Interfracht has already successfully completed several name changes and mergers in the past. The new brand will further strengthen us and our sales“, says Thomas Lippuner, who will run Rail Cargo Logistics – Austria as Managing Director along with István Lakat, Johann Gaida and Reinhard Bamberger. Rail Cargo Logistics was the new brand for the end customer sales of Rail Cargo Group and will combine the sales within the entire group of companies. The advantage for customers was a further strengthening of the sales department as core competence and pooling the specialists of each branch under a single roof leading to more efficiency and better performance.
The sales activities of the subsidiary Entsorgungslogistik Austria are also to be bundled under the brand Rail Cargo Logistics in order to provide even more advanced services to our customers. Rail Cargo Logistics – Environmental Services GmbH will also be offering its services on the market as expert in the field of waste recycling, waste management, as well as supply and disposal logistics for large building sites.
Express-Interfracht Internationale Spedition GmbH – part of the Rail Cargo Group, a subsidiary of ÖBB – has been active for more than 65 years as a transportation specialist. The company has an international logistics network between the North Sea, Black Sea and the Mediterranean, with more than 400,000 pallet slots for storage and logistics services. The rebranded Express has about 180 employees at sites in Vienna, Linz, Lenzing (logistics facility), Salzburg and Fürnitz. The also rebranded company Entsorgungslogistik Austria has 20 employees on its payroll. Also the former Chemfreight, with about 100 staff is part of Rail Cargo Logistics.
