FedEx Trade Networks opens 5 new offices in Europe

FedEx’s Freight Forwarding arm continues its global expansion with new offices in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy and Belgium. 

The new offices in Budapest, Prague, Madrid, Milan and Antwerp are part of the company’s aggressive expansion plan for its Europe, Middle East & Asia (EMEA) region.

"Budapest, Prague, Madrid and Milan are all important air hubs in Central and Southern Europe, and the Port of Antwerp is one of the world’s busiest seaports," commented Fred Schardt, president & CEO of FedEx Trade Networks.

The office in Antwerp is FedEx Trade Networks‘ second office in Belgium. The company also has an office in Brussels, which accommodates its airfreight forwarding operations in the country.

The company has opened a total of 33 new offices around the world since 2008, in addition to its more than seventy locations in the US and Canada.

Other locations include Germany (Frankfurt and Hamburg) the United Arab Emirates, Poland (Gdynia and Warsaw), Belgium, the UK (Manchester and London), France (Paris), The Netherlands (Amsterdam and Rotterdam), India (Mumbai and Chennai), Mexico, Brazil, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China (Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Qingdao, Tianjin, Xiamen, Dalian and Ningbo).  The company also has a representative office in Vietnam.
