First direct flight from Vienna to Rotterdam

Summer flight schedule of Vienna Airport provides four new flight connections and increased frequencies on several routes

 

The summer flight schedule of the Vienna International Airport has interesting news for persons active in overseas trade. Transavia Airlines starts a liner service to Rotterdam on 21 April 2011. The second-biggest city in the Netherlands will be approached four times weekly from Vienna.

The German Cirrus Airlines will operate the flight from Vienna to Dresden from 28 March; six times per week. Also on 28 March the newly established airline People’s Vienna Line will start its direct flight from Vienna to Altenrhein. The Portuguese airline TAP Portugal will again introduce Vienna to its flight schedule from 27 May and offers five days per week a direct link to Lisbon. Niki introduces Madrid to its destinations offering and will serve the Spanish capital daily from 28 March.

To Copenhagen Niki plans an additional morning flight. Moreover the airline will increase the frequencies to Zurich by five additional flights per week. The Spanish airline Iberia expands its direct service to Madrid by five weekly flights. Starting with the summer schedule Air Malta increases its frequencies to the Mediterranean island to daily operations. Moreover Air Transat expands its offering to Canada compared to last year.
