First information of IMS about price development in 2012

Container operator IMS – Intermove Systems gives a first outlook about price development in sea port hinterland traffic:

Price increases for sea port hinterland transport with Austria on the railway are becoming visible for 2012. The container operator IMS – Intermove Systems (Vienna) informs its customers about the current situation,thereby providing the hint that the pricing has not been finished completely jet.

According to this letter prices on the routes Vienna – Hamburg/Bremerhaven v.v. and Enns – Hamburg/Bremerhaven v.v. will each approximately rise by 8.7 per cent. Prices on the Austria – Netherlands v.v. routes and Frenkendorf – Rotterdam v.v. indicative prices will rise approximately 5 per cent. National Austrian rail freights will be increased indicatively by the inflation compensation rate. The terminal charges for Salzburg, Linz, Enns and Vienna will be increased by an average of 5 per cent as well.
