FlexLink extends SCM agreement with Kuehne + Nagel

Kuehne + Nagel will continue to manage all international transports fpor FlexLink from their global hub in Poznan for the next two years

FlexLink, one of the world’s leading suppliers of flexible, modular conveyors and industrial automation equipment, has extended the contract with Kuehne + Nagel as its exclusive logistics and transport service provider for the next two years.

Within the scope of the cooperation, which started in 2012, Kuehne + Nagel will continue to manage all international transports for FlexLink from their global hub in Poznan. The company will provide air and sea transportation services to more than 30 destinations worldwide, as well as part load and groupage overland services across Europe. The agreement also includes all customs clearances and thus covers the entire logistics needs of FlexLink and its customers from door-to-door.

Svante Anderholm, Chief Operations Officer of FlexLink, summarises: “We are highly satisfied with our logistics partnership with Kuehne + Nagel over the last two years, serving our global partner network in over 60 countries. Therefore we are looking forward to continuing the cooperation and are confident to achieve further supply chain optimisations. For the future we are also envisaging to transfer selective parts of our contract logistics needs to Kuehne + Nagel.”
