Flynt Group rebrands as Barloworld Logistics
Hong Kong-based Flynt International Forwarders and its group companies have been consolidated and rebranded as Barloworld Logistics. Barloworld Logistics acquired the Flynt Group of companies in 2008. With the rebranding, the operation in Hong Kong will be known as Barloworld Logistics (Hong Kong), and the Shanghai operation Barlowolrd Logistics (Shanghai), with Guangzhou as a branch thereof. Part of the South African Barloworld group, Barloworld Logistics acquired several businesses in the Middle East and Far East in 2008 to strategically position itself on the world’s leading East – West trade flow. Barloworld Logistics provides end-to-end supply chain management services in Africa, the Middle East, Europe and the Far East, including customs clearance, export documentation, sea- and airfreight, warehousing, local transport, demand planning, inventory management, project cargo and event management.
