Foreign Office picks Hellmann for logistics

FCO Services, the trading fund of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, has awarded  a global logistics services contract to Hellmann Worldwide.

Hellmann will be responsible for delivery of official mail to and from British diplomatic missions around the world.

Andy Connor, managing director of Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK, said: “We are extremely pleased to be working with the FCO and look forward to serving all its logistical needs in the future.”

* Airfreight grew 11 per cent in the first quarter at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics UK, the company said in its results.  Gross profit was up 12 per cent while sales grew by eight per cent.
