FPS Shenzen relocates for growth

The Shenzen, China office of Famous Pacific Shipping Hong Kong – one of the founders of the FPS Group network of independent freight forwarders – has relocated to larger premises in central Shenzen, to cater for the branch’s continuing growth

First established in 2002 and currently employing 50 staff, FPS Shenzen is now based in the city’s Luo Ho district, immediately above its subway station, and closer to the China/Hong Kong border.

The new offices are 30% larger, and will accommodate an expected increase to 70 staff.

FPS Shenzen provides multi-modal forwarding services, is one of five offices operated by the Hong Kong-based company, and accounts for some 25% of its total business.

FPS Shenzen is managed by Thomas Chan, General Manager, reporting to FPS Hong Kong Director Edmond Tong.

Says Mr. Tong: “Shenzen is becoming increasingly important within our overall network across China, and the new, larger offices will enable us to grow our staff strength to keep pace with our increasing traffic levels.”
