Frikus enters market in Bulgaria

New Sofia location of Lagermax subsidiary Frikus to start operation shortly
 
The Frikus group is about to add a new location in Bulgaria to its network in the new EU-member states. In an interview with the Austrian transport magazine LogEASTics Herbert Weber, managing director, informs about the recent opening of a location in Sofia. Equipped with their own fleet, the company will shortly launch part and full load transport for the companies of the Lagermax group and for third-party customers.
 
The Frikus group headquartered in Zettling near Graz has branches in Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and now also in Bulgaria. Established in 1928 the enterprise operates a fleet of about 330 vehicles and provides international transport services (FTL/LTL), automotive logistics, contract logistics and waste management. Integration into the Lagermax corporate group was effective from 1 January 2012. In 2011 the about 570 employees generated turnover of EUR 65 million.
