Further large logistics investment at Leipzig/Halle Airport
DH Beteiligungen AG builds logistics facility for valuables Leipzig/Halle Airport is to be expanded by another large logistics property. As soon as the building permission is issued DH Beteiligungen AG will build a logistics security centre at the “Freight south”-area for transport, warehousing and throughput of valuables and valuable industrial goods. The relevant building asset contract was just signed by Leipzig/Halle Airport and DH Beteiligungen AG. The available freighter connections were a main reason why this location had been chosen for the project. The logistics security centre has a floor area of 67,000 sq. m. and offers on several floors a net effective area of 24,438 square metres. The investment amounts to around EUR 100 million. About 100 jobs will be created. The logistics security centre shall be used to store, handle and distribute high quality goods and merchandises from regions all over the world.
